Mark Strand

Last year I was able to shoot an amazing Senior recital concert at Drake University given by Mark Strand. I was able to enjoy the amazing music while taking photos at the same time. The client really  makes the photos. I think the great music helped me work! Mark strand is one of the best saxophone players I have ever heard. He recently started a website for his music, http://www.markstrandjazz.com. I highly recommend you take some time and have a listen. I know you will be impressed.

Glen & Liz

True love. When a Hawkeye and a Cyclone can get married you know it is true love! That is the only explanation. I would know, I am a Hawk and my wife is a die hard Cyclone. Seriously, Liz and Glen are perfect for each other. This outdoor wedding they planned was a blast to photograph.

All the guests of the rehearsal dinner were asked to support their favorite team.

Glen proposed to his bride at this white windmill.

Liz’s Bridals

Liz & Glen have been married for a few months now so it is more than ok for us to debut Liz’s bridals. Now these are truly Iowa bridals! We went out to the country for these shots and found an amazing red barn. Thanks to Sheryl & Dick for letting us use it. I wish every bride would do a bridal! I can’t imagine every bride doesn’t want another excuse to wear their wedding dress!

In true MFP blog style I saved one of my favorites for last again.
